Corbfest 2024 at Corbett Community Library, Abbotshall HLC and St Andrews Church

We can’t wait to welcome you here at Corbett Community Library for this year’s Corbfest Event!
This year as well as creating a fun day out for all the family we will be hosting around 15 artists / makers and bakers to promote and celebrate the talent we hold in our local community. With interactive stalls for children, an Illustration and Animation workshop for all the family, a Men’s Health walk, talk and BBQ, Wellness dogs sessions, live music and performances for all - we have something for everyone in the community to enjoy!
Down at Abbotshall HLC there will be lots of family fun with a bouncy castle, having a bubble, a beekeeping demonstration, BBQ, hot food, refreshments and many live performances arranged by the CRA. St Andrews are having a lunchtime concert in the church and running a Quiz night in the evening in the Church Hall. Please do support all three venues by making a day of it by visiting us all! :)

Illustrate and Animate Workshop
Join local artist Nancy Ellis, for a fun-filled workshop on the theme of Magic and Imagination! Create your own imaginative character illustration and then bring it to life through the magic of stop motion. This is a fun, free and interactive workshop ideal for ages 5-11 and their family members.
Please note: The Corbett Residence Association are funding this workshop. Any donations on the day to cover our costs would be appreciated. Suggested donation £2-5 per per

Pat-A-Cake Paws - Cuddles & Wellness
Immerse yourself in the therapeutic benefits of cuddling, petting and frolicking with four adorable fur-balls. Their presence alone is enough to uplift spirits and create an atmosphere of sheer delight. Let their gentle nature and mischievous antics transport you to a world of joy and laughter. Interactions with dogs has proven to be extremely beneficial to the mind, body and general wellbeing for all. It counters stress elements and has the ability to produce purely positive loving emotions. These two sessions are suitable for all ages and will be beneficial to everyone. It is extremely important for our doggies to interact with the world and socialise. So not only does this benefit you, it also benefits our four legged friends. A well socialised pup is a happy pup!
